Life in Soil

The course is devoted to the review of biological processes in the soil and to the role of living organisms in bedrock formation.

 

Learning Outcomes

During the course learners are going to know about the role of scouring organisms in global cycle of matter and energy, to learn how to differentiate organisms of systematic and trophic levels, to study specific features of soil animals of city ecosystems and agricultural holdings, to use knowledge about the ecology of these organisms for soil enrichment.

Learners will also master simple methods of bioindication, enhanced culture productivity and investments efficiency techniques for one's own land.
